StyleDefined NYC
StyleDefined NYC was Katya Moorman’s obsession from its beginning in 2008 until she sold it in 2014. Part street style with a focus on nightlife, part emerging designers and all New York, it was updated daily with entirely original content.
“Through a unique mix of style, nightlife and personal point of view, it developed a cult following by New York’s riotous underground tribe.”— i-D Magazine

A LIVING PORTRAIT OF NEW YORK
Style from the street up
What began as a photographic essay on street style and fashion grew into an online magazine reaching more than 100,000 unique visitors worldwide every month. It moved between candid street portraits, downtown nightlife, emerging designers, interviews and Katya’s unmistakable personal point of view.
One of the most highly regarded street-style blogs on the web, StyleDefined NYC was recognized by French Vogue, New York Magazine, Time Out New York, i-D, Zink, Glamour, Nylon and The Huffington Post, among others.
The work also led to photography assignments for international print and online publications and trend reports, including Trendspotter, The JC Report, Buck UK, i-D Magazine and BlackBook Media.
